An Qiluo was enveloped by a fiery body, his heart in chaos; he blushed and nodded slightly, saying softly, “Okay.”
These two types of medicinal plants were common in the Darkworld Forest, but because they were the food of the fallen beastmen, each plant was guarded by nearby fallen beastmen, making it necessary to fight them off to collect the plants.
An Qiluo thought Yu Dinis, being only a three-star beastman, would certainly not be able to retrieve many vibrant herbs and green fruits, making the reward effectively void.
Having only known Yu Dinis for three days, he felt embarrassed to engage in a purely romantic kiss; the mere thought of it left his body feeling like it was on fire.
Shuai Chang said, “You promised me, no backing out.”
An Qiluo nodded, “I could swear an oath to the Beast God Mins.” After all, Yu Dinis wouldn’t be getting that kiss anytime soon, so he needed to prepare himself mentally, perhaps even applying some lip balm beforehand.
Suddenly, Shuai Chang revealed a mischievous smile, releasing An Qiluo to pick up the backpack behind him. “An Qiluo, guess what’s inside?”
An Qiluo looked at the bulging backpack and thought it couldn’t be all medicinal plants, could it? “Is it your clothes?” He figured one piece of clothing could hardly fill the bag.
Shuai Chang shook his head and opened the backpack, placing its contents under the moonlight.
“Ah!” An Qiluo gasped and covered his mouth.
The backpack was filled to the brim with medicinal plants, containing not only a lot of vibrant herbs and green fruits but also many other rarer medicinal plants.
After his surprise, An Qiluo felt joy, and once the joy settled, he felt bashful, recalling what he had just promised Yu Dinis — a passionate kiss.
“Yu Dinis, how did you…” How did you gather so many medicinal plants?
Before An Qiluo could finish his question, Shuai Chang’s tongue slipped into his mouth, entangling with his small tongue and constantly licking and sucking, the tip of his tongue occasionally brushing against An Qiluo’s sensitive palate.
An Qiluo’s milk-like skin turned pink, his body quivered nervously, and pleasure-filled moans escaped his lips.
In An Qiluo’s sea-blue eyes, there seemed to be a galaxy of stars, shimmering as though covered by glimmering water.
“Ah—”
Shuai Chang, satisfied, released An Qiluo and licked the moisture off his delicate lips with the tip of his tongue.
Shuai Chang tapped An Qiluo’s nose playfully, “Silly, why didn’t you breathe through your nose?”
An Qiluo leaned weakly against Shuai Chang, breathing heavily, finally recovering after a moment.
“It’s my first kiss; I’ll get better with practice,” An Qiluo said bashfully.
Shuai Chang chuckled as he tousled An Qiluo’s silver hair, “Looks like I’ll need to find more medicinal plants so we can practice a few more times.”
Blushing, An Qiluo turned away and whispered, “I, I need to go back to the dorm; you should get some rest too.”
Shuai Chang didn’t tease him anymore, standing up and saying, “I’ll walk you to the door.”
The two walked to the entrance of the female beastman dormitory, and Shuai Chang placed the backpack in An Qiluo’s hands under the wary gaze of the dorm supervisor.
An Qiluo said, “You’ll need the backpack tomorrow; let me take out the medicinal plants to take inside.”
Shuai Chang replied, “Today was fruitful; I plan to exchange for two Summoning Rings tomorrow, one for you and one for me. It will be much easier to store the medicinal plants that way than carrying a backpack.”
An Qiluo nodded and looked up, finding it hard to tear his gaze away from Yu Dinis’s dark green eyes.
“Ahem!” The dorm supervisor cleared their throat loudly.
An Qiluo said, “See you tomorrow,” hugged the backpack, and dashed into the dormitory building.
The dorm supervisor slowly said, “Kid, tone it down; this is a school.” Especially with those eyes, they looked like they wanted to eat An Qiluo up immediately.
Shuai Chang smiled without a hint of embarrassment, “Thank you for taking care of An Qiluo.”
The dorm supervisor shot him a glare, their lips curling into a smile, “Sweet-tongued kid.”
Returning to the male beastman dormitory, each male beastman had a single room, equipped with just a single bed, with a wardrobe and a desk underneath.
Shuai Chang carried a basin of water to the common bathroom for a shower and quickly fell asleep upon returning to his room.
He set an alarm for eight-thirty, and with the ringing sound, he opened his eyes, his dark green gaze flashing with a sharp gleam before settling back into tranquility, reflecting sunlight like fine jade.
After washing up and changing into his school uniform, Shuai Chang arrived at the trading room punctually at nine.
As soon as the trading room opened, Yarlins excitedly waved at Yu Dinis, “Boss! I’m over here!”
Yarlins, known for his lively personality, was quite a celebrity in the Beastman Academy; anyone he called “Boss” must be impressive. Many people instinctively turned to where Yarlins was waving but realized they didn’t recognize the male beastman before them.
Yu Dinis strolled over leisurely, ignoring the curious looks, “Let’s go; I need to exchange some items first, then we’ll head to the Darkworld Forest.”
Yarlins eagerly agreed, “Boss, you’re amazing! The five of us only managed to hunt two fallen beastmen yesterday morning.”
In the trading room, items required at least five fallen beastmen fangs for exchange, and the five of them could hardly divide two fangs amongst themselves.
“Today, regardless of how many we catch, I’ll give you two fangs.” Shuai Chang needed Yarlins to help attract fallen beastmen; Yarlins had decent skills, and his admiration for Yu Dinis made him a great partner to collaborate with. Shuai Chang didn’t mind offering a hefty reward.
Yarlins blushed with excitement, “Boss, isn’t that too much? I can’t do much; just one fang is enough!” Without Yu Dinis, he wouldn’t be able to catch a single fallen beastman all day. Moreover, being with Yu Dinis was safe, so Yarlins felt guilty for taking advantage of Yu Dinis and lowered the payback to one fang.
Shuai Chang didn’t care whether it was one fang or two, saying, “Take it; it’s yours.”
Worried about upsetting Yu Dinis, Yarlins hurriedly nodded, “Yes, yes, yes, Boss, I’ll listen to you.”
Shuai Chang scanned the room and asked, “Where can I exchange for Summoning Rings?”
Yarlins had followed an older student into the room before and had a general idea, “The more valuable items are towards the back. Summoning Rings cost about ten fallen beastman fangs, so it should be in the middle area.”
